BRING BACK THE KING

The Great Reawakening Has Begun

Isaiah 6:8 · 2 Samuel 19 · Joel 2:23

The first reformation changed what we believe. This one changes how we live. Africa stands at the threshold of her greatest hour. The King is returning to His throne - in our hearts, our churches, our nations.

The Vision

Not Religion.
Reformation.

Bring Back the King is a movement to restore Christ-like character and behavior in our church communities and nations - through the Spirit-moved Word of God in action. The model is the true righteousness of Christ, restored through sacrifice, to save humanity.

"The first reformation was about creeds. This one is about deeds. The question is: what are you doing to expand the love of God?"

God's Great Sacrifice

The Infinite God
Became Small

"The infinite God makes himself a small child. The unfathomable takes on a human face. The uncreated Light enters into our darkness."

Hebrews 2:9, 14–17 · John 15:13

He who made himself the servant of all reveals to us the infinite value of every act of love accomplished in humility and self-giving. Nothing is ever small that is lived in union with him. United with him, even the humblest existence becomes fruitful for the Kingdom of God.

Four Pillars of the Spiritual Revolution

The Great Reawakening is built on four unshakeable foundations, each demanding action from the church.

I

Reformation of Doctrine

The five Solas reborn for Africa. What the church believes must be rooted in Scripture alone - not tradition, ceremony, or culture.

Sola Scriptura · Sola Fide · Soli Deo Gloria

II

Revival of God's Spirit

The latter rain is falling. The Spirit moves the church to do the Word - embodying the self-sacrificial love of Christ in every deed.

Joel 2:23 · Hosea 6:3 · Job 29:23

III

Remnant of the Committed

God's faithful ones, scattered like dew upon the grass, bringing life and blessing to the nations around them.

Micah 5:7 · Hosea 2:20 · Zechariah 10:1

IV

Restoration of NT Design

A church defined not by ritual but by radical obedience. To obey is better than sacrifice. Justice. Mercy. Truth.

1 Samuel 15:22 · Proverbs 21:3 · 1 John 2:3

Biblical Africa

Africa Was Never
Forgotten by God

From Cush to Egypt, from Alexandria to Axum - Africa has always been at the center of God's story. The continent that hosted the infant Christ, birthed the greatest theologians, and anchored the early church is called once again to arise.

"For the African to cultivate an inferiority complex is to sign the death warrant of Africans. Let Africa know she had a global past and has a glorious future."

Psalm 68:31

Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

Isaiah 19:25

Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands.

Malachi 1:11

From the rising of the sun, my name shall be great among the nations.

Zeph 3:10

From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, my suppliants shall bring mine offering.

Africa

Two Reformations

The Reformation Has Come to Africa

500 years ago, Europe was changed by doctrine. Today, Africa is changed by obedience.

First Reformation · 1517

Focused on doctrine and belief

Asked: What does the Church believe?

Centered in Europe - Wittenberg

The Bible in every hand

Theological liberation

VS

African Reformation · Now

Focused on behavior and action

Asks: What is the Church doing?

Centered in Africa - every nation

The Spirit in every life

Social transformation + Kingdom deeds

Sola Scriptura

Scripture Alone

The Bible is Africa's only infallible guide - above tradition, culture, and religious ceremony.

Sola Fide

Faith Alone

Salvation through faith in Christ alone - not ancestry, ritual, or church membership.

Sola Gratia

Grace Alone

Africa's redemption is God's unearned gift - freely given, impossible to deserve.

Solus Christus

Christ Alone

Jesus Christ alone is Africa's King - no ancestor, no prophet, no politician beside Him.

Soli Deo Gloria

God's Glory Alone

Africa's entire purpose is God's glory - every city, every leader, every nation for His renown.

Hosea 6:6 - The Heart of God's Desire

"For I desire Mercy, not Sacrifice,
and Acknowledgment of God
rather than Burnt Offerings."

This is the foundation of the African Reformation. Not ceremony. Not spectacle. Mercy. Knowledge. Action.

John 15:13

Faith in God Self-Sacrifice Humility Love Giving Saving LIFE

Bringing back the King means bringing back His character - His obedience, His love, His sacrifice. Not in word alone. Not in ceremony. In deed. In truth. In fire.

The Character of the King

12 Core Values of the
African Reformation

These are not rules to follow. They are a life to live - the character of Christ made visible in every believer, every family, every community. This is what Bring Back the King looks like in daily human life.

Galatians 5:22–23 · Matthew 5:3–12 · Micah 6:8
1

Unconditional Love

Love that does not depend on how you are treated. Love that gives without counting the cost and serves without needing to be thanked.

Live it · Love someone today who has not earned it
2

Radical Honesty

Telling the truth when a lie is easier. Refusing to deceive, manipulate, or wear a mask. The reformation cannot be built on anything but the truth.

Live it · Say what is true, not what is comfortable
3

Loyal Commitment

Standing by your covenant when it is costly. Loyalty to God, to the community, and to the mission - even when everything tempts you to walk away.

Live it · Keep the promise you made when it was easier
4

Deep Humility

Not thinking less of yourself - thinking of yourself less. The reformer who does not lead with humility does not lead with the King's authority.

Live it · Serve today where no one will notice or applaud
5

Self-Sacrifice

The willingness to lay down your comfort, your time, your resources - and your life - for the good of another. This is the King's defining characteristic.

Live it · Give something today that costs you something real
6

Living Righteousness

Doing what is right even when it is not rewarded. Justice, integrity, and moral courage - not as religion but as a daily way of life that reflects the King's nature.

Live it · Do the right thing in one hard situation today
7

Harmony in Diversity

Africa has over 2,000 languages and 54 nations. The Kingdom belongs to every tribe and tongue. We celebrate difference and refuse every form of tribalism, racism, and division.

Live it · Build a genuine relationship across a cultural line
8

Gracious Courtesy

Treating every human being with dignity and respect - regardless of their status, background, or behavior toward you. The King touched the untouchable. So must we.

Live it · Treat the person society ignores with full dignity today
9

Pursuit of Excellence

Doing your best work as an act of worship. Daniel was ten times better than his peers. The African reformer represents the King - mediocrity is not an option.

Live it · Bring your absolute best to the work in front of you today
10

Steadfast Diligence

Patient, persistent, consistent effort - even when results are slow. The reformation is not built in a moment. It is built day by day, deed by deed, by people who refuse to quit.

Live it · Return to the task you have been avoiding - and finish it
11

Active Justice

Speaking up and acting when others are silent. Justice is not a feeling - it is a deed. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to God than sacrifice. Proverbs 21:3.

Live it · Speak up for someone who cannot speak for themselves
12

Faith in Action

Belief that does not stay in the pew. Faith that walks out of the church and into the street, the office, the courtroom, and the community. Faith proved by deeds, not declarations.

Live it · Do one thing this week that only makes sense if God is real

These Values Are Not a Program.
They Are a Person - The King.

Every one of these values was perfectly demonstrated by Jesus Christ. He loved unconditionally, lived honestly, stayed loyal under torture, served with humility, gave his life in sacrifice, pursued righteousness, welcomed every tribe and people, treated the lowest with courtesy, worked with excellence, persevered with diligence, fought for justice, and proved his faith at the cross.

Galatians 5:22 · John 13:34 · Micah 6:8 · 1 Corinthians 13

Are You the Remnant?

Answer the Call

God is looking for those who will go. Men and women of faith, sacrifice and love. If you are ready to be the change - sign up. The African Reformation needs you. Who will go for us? Say: Here I am. Send me.

Isaiah 6:8 - "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Here am I; send me."
